Group accomodation - Le Relais de Blancard

On a limestone plateau, not for from the canyon of the Ardèche, in a nature reserve where fragrances and colours of the mediterranian scubland dominate, the Relais de Blancard offers you a place to revatelise yourself, to relax or to go for a walk.

This old isolated farm surrounded by nature has been renovated in the traditional architectural style of the region with great respect for its environment: a ecological gîte for groups build with naturial materials and heated with wood. At a walking distance from the gîte you'll find the farm of your host who makes it his duty to teach you more about his profession: products, wild aromatic and ecological plants for distillation and essential oils, an activity which is close to nature and helps to improve the know how and the preservation of nature. This old farm welcomes you for relaxing holidays with many sports and touristic attractions organised around the canyon of the Ardeche. Also good location to have familly reunions,to spend time with friends, to organise workshops and seminaries. Most of the rooms are for private use and two dining rooms with kitchen are available. The house is surrounded by scrubland,thyme, cedars and stony walls with an allround view on the valley of the Rhône, the mountain Ventoux and the 'montagne ardéchoise'. The gîte has 4 rooms, 3 bathrooms with shower/toilet for 10 to 15 people. It can be enlarged with another 2 rooms, a mezzanine for more demanding groups (15 to 23 people). At a distance of 200m there is another gîte also for rent ( group of 10 people). For rent for a weekend or for a week. At some times of the year with B&B options.
